El Encón is a design brand founded in Argentina that offers simple, exclusive garments and accessories made from natural materials.
We work with artisans from across the country with the aim of preserving and promoting the customs and traditions that define us to the rest of the world.

Our philosophy
We travel the country in search of new experiences and lessons. In the most remote areas, we find families of artisans who have been practising the same craft for years, passing it down from generation to generation.
Families of weavers keep their own sheep or llamas, and use their wool to create their incredible woven pieces.
The art of weaving on a loom requires time and dedication. Our artisans are true artists who, with great love and dedication, share their stories with us and capture them in every product they create.
We seek the return to the origin, to nature, to tradition. We are soul seekers.

Nature is our main source of inspiration, and we firmly believe that we must work in harmony with it.
We are seeking a path towards more sustainable fashion through the production of unique, simple pieces made from natural materials that are suitable for any season.
Our products are made from 100% natural fibres, dyed with natural dyes and hand-woven by skilled craftspeople.
